NEWS and UPDATES: 45 NEW cards for Rage by the Yahoo RAGE Group. The new cards belong to the new set titled "Periphery" - they are now ready for CardTable - Download them and the new CTD file now.. RAGE is a CCG that was put out by White Wolf that was based on their Werewolf: the Apocalypse RPG game. After the initial release of the Premiere (aka Limited) and Unlimited editions, there was the Umbra Expansion, the Wyrm Expansion, the War of the Amazon Expansion, and the Legacy of the Tribes Expansion. There were also a good run of other accessories and promos like the promotional cards and the playmat as well as books. The license was later sold to a different company (FRPG) and was then called Rage Across Las Vegas, and the cards were not compatible. The Classic RAGE CCG maintained a good following playing with the original card series and original rules. Now, you too can play this game online with friends, with access to every card in every set. Azrael Productions is currently in the process of re-releasing the original RAGE game. Please DO NOT -for any reason- send Azrael Productions any questions regarding the CardTable version - they will not help you and they have nothing to do with the CardTable project. |

You will go about building your decks with the deck builder program that you can download on this page. the deckbuilder will show you the card image (except for the character cards) and it will give you all of the card text. You will actually create 2 or 3 decks to play. You will create a Sept deck by loading the data file into the deck builder with the sept cards. Then you will want to build your combat deck as well. I recommend making a 3rd deck for your characters because it keeps everything more organized, but you can load the character data file and add them to either deck. You will want to keep them seperate because they each have different card backs and if they are seperate, you can load them individually and then move them to the cardtable (you will see why this is the best way by using the program.)

Files that allow you to play this game are NOW AVAILABLE. What you will need to do is individually load the 3 datafiles to load into the deckcreator (rageseptdata, combatdata, characterdata) and then use that program to make a deck. Then you will load it into the CardTable program to play the game.

Thanks for the patience everyone has had during the whole creation phase of this project. Any future add-ons will follow - most likely containing minor fixes and new fan made cards.

Note on playing: Since during combat the option of faking your opponent out while making them think you are playing a card (to block a bluff) as well as the timing involved in playing combat cards simultaneously might be diminished or lost in this online version, but a way has been found to keep the feel and play flowing smoothly to keep the combat phase alive. What you do to play combat cards, is both lay your selected card/cards on the table facedown and then when you both have agreed or laid them there, you flip your cards over. If you wish not to play a card, but don't want your opponent to know (to block a bluff) play a "no action" card. This way you wont let your opponent know you are giving them a free bluff. They are at the top of the combat card list that you load to build your combat deck. You should load about 2 or so into your character deck, and pull them into your hand before play begins when you set up your characters.
Many thanks to:
Ryan Casey: for programming CardTable and Deckbuilder.
Chris D Schmitz: for programming the card game text into the RAGE ctd files.
Swiftrat: (that's ME!) for scanning in the majority of RAGE card images and making them look crisp and easy to see. =^__^= And also creating some cool fan-made cards (these will be released in add-on zips with the updated ctds later in the future)
G. Plunket (aka Utinni77): for supplying scans of the few past lives and promotional cards and also helping with the wording on the fan-made cards mentioned above.
Nuit Shu Heru: for supplying scans of the last few remaining Amazon cards I needed.
Lurks-Between-Bytes: for hosting the RAGE: Online files.
