The Black Spirals attacked the Black Furies relentlessly, killing Julisha and later Mari. Meanwhile, the Red Talons once again launched a telling attack on a Pentex Refinery. After an aborted attack from the Umbra on a Nexus Crawler, the Red Talons returned to the physical world to destroy their renegade, Sower-of-Thunder. Final Score in the finals: Ed Swing 29 Steve Baldock 17 Craig Randall 0? Overall observations: In the Swiss rounds, the overall renown broke down as follows: Gaia vs. Gaia: 98 Gaia vs. Wyrm characters/allies: 13 Gaia vs. Enemies: 194 (+ some renown admonishments) Wyrm vs. Wyrm: 0 (never faced each other) Wyrm vs. Gaia characters/allies: 80 Wyrm vs. Victims: 24 There were a fair amount of Gaia vs. Gaia attacks, but fortunately for Gaia, twice as many kills were wyrm kills. Several packs did not devote any resources to finding (playing) Enemies (or Victims). The Wyrm-tainted Wyldlings (Enemy) were the most frequently killed creature. Style points go to Matt Farney, for most vicious Chipmunk (Iglanotti scored 14VP in one game), Craig Randall and Ross Wolfe for most points scored in a game (tied at 32), Jeff Waltersdorf for the Pyrrhic victory (losing Howls-like-Thunder killing a Nexus Crawler, only to be Renown-Admonished), and everyone else for playing some great Rage. Storyline implications I will leave to Fenris... I hope to see all of you next year - bring your packmates! Bring your Enemies! Bring your Victims! Yours in Service to Gaia Songs of Fire, Red Talon Galliard - Rage: Apocalypse Rules Wolf
