Glass Walkers

You move me, you move me
Open sea and city lights
Busy streets and dizzy heights
You call me, you call me

--Rush, Analog Kid

We are the walkers in the glass canyons, the Garou who live in the forest of steel and concrete with our two-legged brethren. The wolf is only one side of our personality, and most of us find the homid form more comfortable. We revel in the gifts of the Weaver, delighting in the marvels of technology. The strength of steel, the beauty of glass, the slippery stream of electrons. We take our position as pack leaders into the power structures of humanity, gaining power and money in corporations and organized crime. The Wyrm has easily penetrated the business structure of mankind, most notably in the form of Pentex. We are able to battle the Wyrm amid the urban sprawl at the heart of their corruption, while the other Garou hold off the expanding tentacles. Our adoption of the human methods smells odd to the other of our breed, but we strive to save Gaia as much as they do.

Black Furies
Proud warrior women. Makes for good television. But we tend not to run in the same circles.

Bonegnawers
These scrappy alleydogs are the closest thing we've got to a close ally. They call the confines of the city home as well, but our paths don't cross all that much. With proper coaxing, they can be an invaluable source of information.

Children of Gaia
Well-meaning, but almost of a quixotic nature.

Fianna
They are somewhat flip and self-absorbed, but their Kinfolk provided much hard work to build the cities of America into what they are today.

Get of Fenris
Self-righteous beserkers. Wind 'em up and let 'em go. Just hope they're pointed in the right direction...

Red Talons
Flip side of the Garou coin from us, they embrace their four-legged nature fully. While we admit we've drifted furter from the ideal balance, their aggressive rejection of humanity baffles us.

Shadow Lords
They have learned the lesson the Silver Fangs refuse: Information is power. They are probably more similar to us than any tribe. Perhaps that's why we trust them the least.

Silent Striders
128-bit encryption through tempest-shielded terminals, password-protected land lines, and tight-beam satellite channels only goes so far. If you really need it to get there, trust a Strider.

Silver Fangs
Outmoded and locked into their past glories. Until they realize that information is the true power in present day, they will not be worthy to lead.

Stargazers
Mysterious fellers. And Garou say we're difficult to have a conversation with.

Uktena
They speak with spirits as well as we commune with machines. We have much to teach each other.

Wendigo
Another tribe that has drawn a line and placed themselves firmly on the side opposite from us. Proud, strong warriors for Gaia, but I'm not convinced they can tell us from the Wyrm.
